RAWALPINDI, Oct 27 (APP):Punjab Arts Council (PAC) on Friday organized a photographic exhibition and protest walk to mark Kashmir’s Black Day. Addressing on the occasion, Director of Arts Council Waqar Ahmad said that Pakistan and Kashmir are two bodies and one soul.
He said that fascist India had completely banned freedom of expression in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and journalists were being massacred. Waqar Ahmad said India was involved in violation of the Geneva Convention and United Nations Security Council resolutions over IIOJK.
Punjab Arts Council has always presented the real image of IIOJK to the world while India’s atrocities were the darkest chapter in history, “no matter how much it is condemned; the darkness of cruelty will disappear one day and the freedom will surely be achieved rise,” he added
He said that the silence of the international community on the violation of human rights in Occupied Kashmir was a cause for concern and even after 76 years, the United Nations has failed to implement the resolutions of the Security Council. During the exhibition, a documentary revealing Indian atrocities on Kashmiris was also shown.
In tableau competitions, Paragon School was first, City Lyceum was second, District Public School for Girls was third and District Public School for Boys was fourth.
The public school stood first, Bright Mind School second, M Educational System third, and Guidance School got fourth position in the speech competition. A large number of students from twin cities participated in the competitions.
